Hello @Vincent-TP

Currently testing the software controller on a PC running Win11. I encountered a weird issue on the voucher validity. Vouchers created with "By Usage" option does not auto pause the total time when the client is from the network. Also, the client even though is disconnected either via ethernet or WiFi, still shows up in the clients list in the main page.

AP used is EAP110 v5.0.7.

Hope you could look into this.

We would like to know more details about the two issues:

Vouchers created with "By Usage" option does not auto pause the total time when the client is from the network.

1. Is this happening on all the portal cilents?

2. A screenshot of the voucher settings.

Also, the client even though is disconnected either via ethernet or WiFi, still shows up in the clients list in the main page.

1. What's the status of the disconnected client showing on the client page? Some screenshots will be better.

2. Did you try to refresh the controller's and web pages? Will they disappear?

3. Will the clients' uptime keep counting after disconnecting from the network?

Please also share a screenshot of the controller's device page so we can know all the SDN devices you are using.

Just FYI:

When a client disconnects, it will remain in the controller's client list for an aging period before being removed (i.e., the controller considers the client truly offline). The default aging period is 5 minutes, but this can be adjusted to 3-10 minutes in the Controller Setting > Client Idle Threshold.

After disconnection, the timer does not stop immediately—it continues running until the aging period expires. However, the aging time is not counted toward the actual usage duration.

If this is not your case, please kindly reply with the info I asked in the last reply.

Looking forward to your update.

Hi  @Felipe_Coutinho

There is no related change related to the issue you reported.

I would recommend starting a new thread under switch block to fix this issue separately.

I’ve recently upgraded my Omada to version 5.15.20.20, and during the upgrade process the equipment (switches) remain stuck at “upgrading” and do not reboot automatically. They only return to normal after a physical reboot (power cycle).

Has experienced this issue?

I'm particularly asking if the beta version 5.15.24 includes a fix for this behavior
