Does this issue occur on all of your phones? Please make sure you have tested on different mobile phones.
If you're suffering a slow speed issue with the EAP devices, you may try the following tips:
1. Please use https://www.speedtest.net or the speedtest APP/CLI (https://www.speedtest.net/apps) for testing speed accurately.
2. Make sure the wireless client and the EAP are not too far away from each other, make sure the client is connected to the correct/nearest EAP.
3. Make sure other clients are not running huge traffic when you are testing speed, you may change the wireless SSID temporarily to disconnect other clients.
4. Performing a wireless optimization might help, please refer to this FAQ to perform a wireless optimization for your EAPs:
How to optimize wireless performance of EAP products
What speed does your internet service provider offer? All other devices in your network are gigabit-capable, such as routers and switches, yet the EAP is limited to Fast Ethernet (100 Mbps) and only supports 2.4 GHz. This feels inconsistent. In today's wireless environment, the 2.4 GHz band is highly congested. It is recommended that you upgrade your wireless access point to a higher level, such as EAP610, etc. Below is a list:
