Firmware Version:

Omada Cloud Essentials

+ eap650 outdoor (main AP)

+ eap225 (mesh from eap650)

my client device

20 metres distance from EAP650.

1 metre distance from eap225.

Look screenshot from my device. Why connect to eap650 20metres away!!!??

802.11r enabled

fast roaming enabled

if i disconnect wifi & reconnect sometime yes it will connect to the closer AP.
but if I original connect that AP then it doesn't roam to the closer ap even when signal difference is 70 vs 20.

I don't want to lock device to AP because then it can fail if my mesh AP dies.

I don't want to set signal RSSI because same problem, if the signal drop & only have that 1 AP it's not acceptable.

I need intelligent roaming. The cloud controller need to tell device to roam when it can see big 50db signal improvement.
