Hi  @medievalknievel

Thanks for the feedback. Please help us confirm the following info:

  1. What does the stop function mean? Will you see the EAP SSID when the issue happened?
  2. When the issue occurred, what was the LED status of the EAP670? Is it off?
  3. Do you use an Omada controller? Or would you please let me know whether you manage the EAP using its standalone interface?
  4. What's the model number of the POE switch? If possible, please change a different ethernet cable to power on the EAP.
  5. When did you first notice this problem? Since the first installation? Do you know if it worked well before?
  6. How often will the issue happen?
  7. How many clients are connecting to the EAP?
  8. How many clients are plugging into the POE switch?

Hello, I was led to this thread after experiencing issues with my EAP 670 V2. The behavior is that my EAP670 randomly seems to stop functioning after X # of days and requires the PoE to be removed/reinserted for it to function correctly again. During this time the wired network has no issues, it's isolated to the AP. Furthermore I cannot access the web dashboard of the AP during this time. I do not know if I can access the AP via SSH as it's disabled but I plan to enable it and attempt accessing to understand how "down" the AP is during this time. As of today (7/9/25) I am on firmware 1.3.0 Build 20250609 Rel. 35129(5553) Any suggestions would be appreciated

So sorry, didnt realize I had received a reply!

I'll need to double check status of SSID but anything connected to that network prior to the behavior looses internet access, IoT devices, laptops, etc
The LED status light is on, solid blue

Use the standalone interface, its the only AP on the network
POE is TP-Link TL-260S - i will try preparing a new ethernet cable
This behavior started some time (scale of days to week or two) after the unit was installed, I've only had the unit a few weeks

At this point the behavior has occured 3 or 4 times over the last 2-ish months

Client list is at about 30 devices

Switch is single port, so just the AP

Hi  @medievalknievel

Thanks for the reply.

>>> Does this mean this happened both on the factory firmware and this pre-release version?

Please try to change the Ethernet cable and observe the performance for more time. Thanks.

  @Vincent-TP

Hello!

Does this mean this happened both on the factory firmware and this pre-release version? - yes, that is correct.

I will test that new wire and report back. Are there any logs or data I could gather from the AP that would help to understand root cause?

Hi  @medievalknievel

Under standalone mode, you may check the logs from this page:
