Another day, another TP-Link AP with no Internet access
I now have no Internet access in a large portion of my house, because both the 2.4 and 5 GHz sections of this access point do not pass Internet traffic. I'm 15 feet away in direct line of sight, with full signal.
Historically, this thing has periodically failed to provide Internet access on the 5 GHz radio while the 2.4 worked. But now both have failed. Of course the asinine app is of no use because it doesn't connect directly to the hardware (so what's the point), so it can't "find" the AP.
The AP is mounted on a wall behind a projection screen, so continually taking the screen down and physically resetting it is not a viable solution. Is there some way to connect directly to it wirelessly without the LAN and issue a reboot or something?
Really fed up with this.
