ER8411 - Heartbeat lost all few minutes

I got today my new ER8411.. adopted it to my local software controller running in docker on my synology nas, everything fine, the router works.
But when looking at the controller the router drops all few minutes it's connection, then it needs to be readopt again..
The weird thing is my old ER7412-M2 which was on the exact same port of my switch (SG3428X-M2) had this issue not. It is the newest firmware on the router.

@MR.S Yeah the shop said they send me a new one.. like the 5 minutes it runs it works decent.. just when that loop starts it is just annoying.

Have you tried adopting it to another controller? There could be something wrong with the controller. You can install the controller on a Windows PC to test, it's easy to do so you can rule out a controller problem.

@MR.S I reinstalled the entire controller, just for that still had that issue

Docker is ain't our maintenance. That was compiled by a warm-hearted member.
So, anything that happens to the setup with Docker will not get our support. Like MR.S recommended, use a Win or LINUX environment and install the controller and test.
I do not see this issue reported from either platform.

Thanks for that information..
I tested that for 1 hour now running it on my Windows Laptop (24h2) the issue is the same
Laptop was directly connected to the router through RJ45 and I tried different the ports..
So could I say now it is a deeper issue with that router's firmware or hardware, since I can't find anyone having something similar?

What you could use, Wireshark to monitor the ports and the communication. I assume something is blocking that.
Device info or running log which can show the reason in the plaintext way.

That was the log of the controller.. there was nothing like a configuration error, just connected and connected and connected
Gerät verbunden |
98-BA-5F-45-AB-25
was connected.

But you may laugh now.. I tried again something I though like may be leaving the router on for a day will fix it maybe by itself.. I had something like that with a cisco catalyst switch.
I just plugged it to a free lan port of my synology and let it adopt by my test site until now since 26 minutes the router did not disconnect or anything.
Not sure why but until now it seems to be fixed "by itself", at least what I hope..
I did not Wireshark the port.. but if something would block the communication then all my other devices, switches and access points have to loose their connection to, since it was like that, when I wrote that post.
Synology Nas with Controller <--> Lan 5 of the ER8411 <--> Lan 4 ER8411 <--> SG3428X-M2 were all these devices (in my message info block, besides the ER7412-M2), were connected.
The configuration that works now, but did not work before is like this
Synology Nas with Controller <--> Lan 7 of the ER8411

@Clive_A I found the issue, when you configure LAN-DNS the router breaks for some reason with the software controller, no matter if windows or docker, until you configure a different model as router..
if it is configured before the router, it works but as soon as the router starts reconfiguring because you changed/ updated something boom that loop starts

Are you sure about this? I am really suspicious about this finding. This has not been reported since the first LAN DNS firmware was released.
As I have tried on various models, LAN DNS would not break the connection between the router and the controller.
It breaks the connection, what about the ping? If you configure it and ping it at the same time.

@Clive_A I don't get why too, but could be that it was just I had luck because now it does the heartbeat lost process "only" after like 30-50 Minutes and no more all 5 or even less
