Hello,

 

I have a TP-Link EAP225-Outdoor V1 access point. The region is UN, which I verified using SSH commands.

 

I am trying to downgrade to firmware version 1.20.0 to enable Client+AP (repeater mode) which is available in that version.

 

However, all public download links are now removed or lead to wrong region files (EU/US), and those are rejected as "bad file" in the web UI.

 

Could you please provide a direct download link to 1.20.0 UN region firmware for EAP225-Outdoor V1?

How did you get this EAP?

 

1.8.1 is a custom firmware, and it can't be updated.

  @User797 can you gave me old framework that mentioned in version before 2022 tplink removed it from website and add signatures one which in some devices create problem

There is no ap with UN, I think UN is what power plug you have, as far as I understand it is an EU device, I have some of those myself, you can find the firmware you need here.

But on omada controller and web ui says bad file when I upload the file

if it not accepting eu version then it is un I ran ssh mode and confirmed my region
