Model: ER8411
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

Trying to get my ER8411 to work with a C5500XK ONT set to Transparent Mode for my home network.  I hate WiFi mesh, and I can't get a strong signal in all corners, so I want WAPs.  So I got this ER8411.  Just want to see if anyone else has connected one through an ONT.

Most fiber modems should work with regular routers. The ER8411 can be considered a regular router. Setting the proper mode should get it working with the modem and get you an Internet connection.

@Clive_A That is what I thought, but just wanted to check to be sure before the return window closed.  I had hoped that the router would come with a configuration guide, since all of my experience is with Cisco CLI, but it looks like I will be hanging around TP-Link's website for a few days.
