Hardware Version: V4
Firmware Version: T1600G-52TS(UN)_V4_20200918

Hey guys,

since some years i am using the 52 port switch T1600G-52TS in revision V4 with the latest firmware, which made it controllable by Omada Controller. Im am using this combo since at least 2 years and since version 4.x of the omada controller software. Even with version 5.x the switch was adopted without any problems.

Some days ago i upgraded the controller to 5.15.24.18 (i was on another 5.15 before I think) and since then my controller won't be adopted any more.

The error message says, that password or username are incorrect, but i never changed them on my own.

Any ideas instead of buying a newer 48 port switch for ~400 EUR?

Will the support for this model come back?

Best wishes

Konni

  @Konni

Refer to the release note that comes with the controller. If this model is not listed in the compatibility list, that could indicate this model has no longer been supported.

The Omada upgrade will gradually switch to the new products and models. Old models may not be supported until the new switch firmware explicitly writes the support for V5.15.X.Y.

Also, about the Omada products, see the naming format for the Omada series. The Jetstream is not fully considered as part of Omada's gears now. And they has been marked as EOL.
