  @Vincent-TP

Is it already implemented?

I'm on 6.2.10.18 and I don't see that option

Hi  @rhrl

We are gradually rolling out firmware support for the upgrade. Firmware for some models has already been released, such as the EAP787, EAP775-wall, etc. , while work on others is still in progress. It won’t be much longer, though I can’t provide an exact date for when all WiFi 7 APs will be fully covered. You may confirm your model number from TP-Link official website:

Has anyone had any luck returning their gear b/c of this nonsense? I think I am about to. What an absolute waste of time.  I buy expensive professional gear and they decide to force a SSID that no level of adminstrator is allowed to configure. Even turning off 6GHz doesn't work. Really??  And the company's repeated answer is that an SSID you have no control or visibility to is secure. OK, right

It would be nice to have ETA for the EAP773 v1 firmware.

Thanks

Hi  @rhrl

No additional configuration is required.

After upgrading to the compatible Omada V6.2 firmware, this SSID will automatically stop broadcasting.

Currently, some EAP models have already released compatible firmware, such as the EAP787.
