Easy Managed Switch clients IP
Easy Managed Switch clients IP

Hello,
I've added today an easy managed switch to my setup, ES210GMP to be precise. Weird stuff is that on switch client list, it shows clients names but nothing for IP. (see attach picture) Clients receives IPs so they are connected without issues.
ES210GMP is connected to another switch SG2428P and both of them have "All" profile on all ports.
Should I created another switch port profile for ES210GMP that has all settings that are not supported disabled ?
Should I give more time to update on Controller side ?
Any suggestions are helpful.
Thank you in advance !

I have explained this in this post:
https://community.tp-link.com/en/business/forum/topic/719468
You are required to have an Omada router acting as the DHCP server and enable ARP detection on it before you can get the IP readings in the Client List(controller tab) from the ES series switch.

Thank you, I saw that post after I've posted the question.
ER8411 is set as DHCP server in my network, ARP is enabled to all LANs, all Omada devices are up to date but still no IP detection.
ES switch should be connected directly to gateway, in this case ER8411 ?
At the moment diagram si set like this: ER8411 --> TL-SG2428P --> ES210GMP
From what I saw in the other post, could be related to Controller version, I do host it myself and the latest version for software controller is 5.15.24.19.
Do I need to wait for the update to be able to have this walkaround working ?
Thank you !

Do they display in the Client List?
If they show up there, that means the system is intact and functioning.
I just downloaded the file, and I saw you were viewing it from the device tab.
I think that part is not gonna display because of the reason in that link.
You can submit a request regarding this for the controller update. It seems the controller does not display or get this information from the Client List.

Is not showing in client list either (see attached picture)
I saw just only 1 person who has IP showing in client list but he has Hardware Controller with 5.15.24.21 firmware, which is newer that Software Controller (5.15.24.19) has.

Then back to the link, did you enable the ARP setting and is your router up-to-date 1.3.2?

Yes, firmware is as follows:
ER8411: version 1.3.2
connected to:
TL-SG2428P: version 4.0.13
connected to:
ES210GMP: version 1.0.3
ARP is enabled on gateway for default LAN network. (I do have one)

Its still not working for most of us, me included
ER8411, ARP detection enabled on all interfaces. OC300 latest controller.
All ES switches are on latest firmware, and downstream of other full omada switches (also all on latest firmware), no client IPs show up.

Confirmed again with the dev that this theoretically can be done, but for some unknown reason, this is not doable at this moment.
Previously, one of the team members and I discussed this. Ideally, this should be resolved by a function on the router, as the reason the ES series does not support the ARP table, and the Controller list is based on the ARP.
Seems to be some difficulty on the dev's end.
Will see if there is any new information from them and update you.
I also updated the reply in that link from the request page.

Thank you for clarification, we hope this will be fixed soon.
It's very frustrating because before ES switch I had unmanaged TP-link switch I can saw all connected devices IPs in controller
Thank you !
