Model: ER605 (TL-R605)
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.1 Build 20231207 Rel.61384

Dear TP-Link Support,

I’m experiencing an issue with my TP-Link ER605 (HW version: V1, firmware: 1.3.1 Build 20231207 Rel.61384) where the web management page does not open in Chromium-based browsers (tested in Chrome, Brave, and Vivaldi). Sometimes the page manages to load, but only occasionally.

The problem occurs on different computers as well.

The issue does not occur in Firefox.

However, in Firefox, when navigating through the menu, the router often unexpectedly logs the user out and asks to log in again.

I also use hardware version V2, and this problem does not occur there.

Best Regards

Rafał

  @vonkaz

Based on description, it appears to be a problem with the cache.

Clear the cache and make sure you use the incognito mode visiting the site.

Cache on the computer can cause cases like this.

  @Clive_A

Hi Clive!

This is not a cache-related issue, as Brave on my computer was freshly installed and practically unused, yet it behaves the same. The same behavior occurs in browsers on other computers connected to this router. After updating to firmware 1.3.1, the problem became more frequent.

For example, on another computer using Brave, the login page to the configuration interface takes about 10 seconds to open. After logging in, the loading spinner appears, and the page never loads. In my opinion, the issue is not browser-related — different computers and different browsers show the same problem — and the router behaves the same way in all cases.

Kind regards

Rafał, vonkaz
