Model: ER706W
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.0 Build 20250428 Rel.77691(4341)

Hello,

Are there plans to enable OWE support on the ER706W?

It was stated here that WPA3 support will be added in the firmware for V5.15; based on the release notes it appears that ER706W fw 1.2.0 is V5.15.

OWE is part of the WPA3 specification, yet it's not supported on 1.2.0 Build 20250428 Rel.77691(4341):

The forum team does not have any information regarding the development progress. Based on the last consultation with the dev, it was that.

OWE is a WPA3 feature, but it does not mean every model is supposed to have this feature. It depends on the product orientation and design.

Regarding the firmware adaptation, the V5.15 refers to a cycle.

Understand the format: V5.X.Y.Z.

X is the major update.

Y and Z are minor improvements, enhancements, and bug fixes.

All the information provided on the forum is not final. Please refer to the final firmware release note.

All the shared information provided regarding the undecided features or roadmap on the forum serves only an informational purpose. It does not represent a final release or define a function or a feature. Nor do we provide a specific timeline, date, or version for a feature.
