Eap670 not connecting
I have four eap670s connected to a TP Link poe+ switch via cat6e and only two will connect. Each one is configured the same I'm using static IP addresses. I've tested the cat6e cables and they test fine with testing unit. I've tried resetting them, still comes back disconnected, rebooted entire stack and remains disconnected. They will connect when I turn on mesh. What am I missing?? Need some help as I'm loosing my mind.

I'm pretty sure it's a network cable problem, but to rule out cable, try switching access points, try connecting the ones that don't work to one of the ones that do.

Did you test the cable connection?
They will connect when I turn on mesh.
>>>This clearly indicates that the EAP's wired connection is not being detected.

@Vincent-TP yes I've used a cable testing kit, one item on both ends of the cable, test shows cable is fine

Hi @JGTV
The cable test results can sometimes be inaccurate. To isolate the issue, we recommend:
-
Swap Test:
- Take the "disconnected" EAP and connect it using the same cable that works for a "connected" EAP
- This determines if the problem lies with:
- The EAP itself, or
- The original cable/network path
-
Observation:
- If the previously failing EAP now works, the issue is likely the original cable/connection
- If it still fails, the EAP may need further inspection
