Have two of these.

bought a new one because the old one kept losing its settings after maybe an hour.

new one now doing the same.

configured as an outdoor wifi connected to the LAN and sharing the same wifi signal not as a range extension.

configured and working, picks up my cctv cameras and all is well then after maybe a couple of hours it drops back to an unconfigured factory set unit and no longer presents the correct wifi SSID signal.
