Model: SG2210MP
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.1

I am currently running an 0C200 controller and ER707-M2 router.  I have multiple switches (SG2008, SG2218, SG2210) on my network , all Jetstream

I recently added the SG2210MP v1.0.   Everything was running with no issues.  ON 8/31 I got a notification on my controller that I had a firmware upgrade available on the SG2210MP.   I performed the upgrade to firmware 1.0.1 and was no longer able to access my controller.

I reset my controller (turned off/on) and was able to  access the GUI with no issues for the controller.     I could not access anything  on the SG2210MP.   I reset the switch and my controller let me begin to adopt.   About midway through the adoption process, the switch ip address reset to 192.168.0.1 and failed to adopt (no connection errors)

My network

Admin:  192.168.11.0/24.   Controller is 192.168.11.2.  Router is 192.168.11.1.   This switch had a static IP of 192.168.11.14

I reset the switch multiple times and each time it started with ip address 192.168.11.14 and public ip of 192.168.11.14 but then switched during process to ip address 192.168.0.1 and public ip 192.168.11.14.

I isolated the switch and reset tied to my computer and tried loggin in directly when it was 192.168.0.1.   User name password admin/admin did not work.  After some research i found that this login ability was removed with firmware 1.0.1

What options are there to get into and fix this issue?   I see other similar posts regarding usb to serial adapter, but this doesn't have a serial port of any flavor.

Looking for help.

You could refer to this guide:

What should I do when Omada Gateway adopt fails

Your firmware is also very outdated. Proceed upgrade process and make sure it is on the proper firmware before you try to adopt it to V5.0 controller.

Thanks - i believe i have followed all of those steps in the guide.  The most beneficial would have been the reset and login with admin/admin, however now matter how many times i try to reset the switch, login with admin/admin does not work.  If I could login remotedly before it is adopted by the controller, i could do something with firmware or even staticly set the ip within the switch?  not sure.   I have not had this issue on any other device i have on my network which is causing the confusion.

How to get around the admin/admin issue not working?

admin/admin is the default.

Did you buy this from an authorized store? If it is not tailored for a company, customized, the password should be the default admin/admin; the login should not be a problem.
