Model: ER7212PC
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.1 Build 20250220 Rel.67749

I am trying to increase the throughput from my switch to the router/controller. I can successfully configure LAG (Active LACP) on two of the SFP ports(Port 27, 28) of my SG3428 switch. But when I connect these to the two SFP ports (SFP WAN/LAN1 and SFP WAN/LAN2) on the ER7212PC no traffic passes through.

Traffic passes fine when no LAG is configured for individual connections when used one at a time so no hardware (SFP/Fiber) issues.

Is there any configuration to be done on the ER7212PC side to enable this as there are no aggregation options for the ports?

Is there an alternate way of doing this using VLAN?

End goal is to enable 2gbps up/dn link from SG3428 to ER7212PC for WAN sharing.

None of the current routers support LAG, sadly.  It has been requested for a number of model though.

About the best you can do is split vlans across multiple ports - which can actually be more efficient than LAG as each vlan (or however many you define per port) gets its own link to and form the switch

Main: ER8411 x1, SG3428X x1, SG3452 x1, SG2428LP x1, SG3210 x1, SG2218P x1, SG2008P x3, ES208G x1, EAP650 x6 Remote: ER7206 v2 x1, ER605 v2 x3, SG2008P x2, EAP650 x2, ES205G x1 Controller: OC300

@GRL Thanks. I will try to fool around with the VLAN config over the weekend.

Tried the VLAN setup option and it does not really work. The WAN traffic still routes through the single uplink port from the switch to the router as the ACL entries just redirect it to the main IP group. Any pointers on how to create a second "trunk" or "uplink" from the Switch to the router is appreciated.
