Is the EAP772 v1 still current?
Hi,
I just had an EAP772 AP get stuck in adopting after being flaky. I rebooted the entire system and upgraded the controller firmware. I went to check the AP firmware and noticed it is on an old build from 20240801. I tried to update and it is on the latest version. I checked the EAP772 downloads page and v1 hasn't had an update yet V2.6 is on build 20250327. So my question, is the EAP772 v1 still supported with updates?

Vincent-TP I have some confusion about v1.1.2.58575 vs v1.1.4.57645.
I am using the Omada Software Controller and see that I in the device can upgrade to 1.1.2

However in the firmware overview page I see 1.1.4

Since today I see the upgrade to 1.1.4 as well, but only for those devices that are already been updated to 1.1.2

@puitv 1.1.4 must be EU version. US don't have it?

Hi @puitv
Regarding information such as firmware release plans, feature addition schedules, and product lifecycles for various models, unfortunately, the community team does not have access to specific plans in advance. Compared to the official website, we can only learn about whether a firmware version is scheduled for community pre-release about 1-2 weeks earlier. Beyond that, we have no further information. For more detailed updates, we recommend keeping an eye on the official website. I appreciate your understanding.
Additionally, regarding your questions, I believe no one at TP-LINK can provide definitive answers.

Thank you for the feedback and the new release.
I hope I get some time the next weeks to test this firmware.
But still a few questions are there:
1) Are all V2 features merged to V1 too?
2) Can you confirm that V1 gets the same support life time as V2? In other words, can you confirm that the PDF with EOL devices is not correct?
We still have a unsupported product if you cannot confirm (2)
Thanks in advanced for your answers
