Strange traffic graph with breaks

Good day. I have a number of EAP653 APs with OC200 controller.
Today I found that Traffic Activities graph shows strange breaks (see below). No any outages were performed at that time. Just normal working day.
Any thoughts what it can be and how to deal with it further?
Thanks in advance

Hi @SMARTWAY
Thanks for posting here.
This occurred because the controller failed to receive data from the devices at that time. The delay in data reporting was likely caused by device congestion, resulting in packet discard when the timeout threshold was exceeded.
Possible reasons include:
- Network congestion at that time
- Device undergoing reboot or firmware update
- Degraded device performance

Thanks for the answer. Saying "caused by device congestion" or "Degraded device performance" what device do you mean? Is it the controller? The controller gets data from tens of APs and if it shows complete breaks on the graph it means that the problem with itself, right?

@SMARTWAY I noticed the same issue, which was posted in the Gateway forum. I had increasing issues with one EAP225-outdoor that seemed to be going bad. Reboot would not help. LOGS show clients being tossed off the EAP225, but no reboot messages, and 40s later, the AP would reappear and clients would come back from other AP's. 100 Mbps Ethernet connections instead of 1000 Mbps. Ethernet cable tests OK. Seems this issue was causing 3 or 4 of these network gaps per day. As if the OC200 controller was rebooting. Replaced EAP225-Outdoor with a new EAP610-Outdoor. All stability issues were resolved. No more gaps and weird activity in the LOGS.
Note that a suggestion I made was that we could use a coldboot log entry that "confirm" that a EAP device rebooted. Lots of reasons this could happen, but knowing for certain that something rebooted is a big help and vector to pursue.
Examine your logs carefully for strange activity around the times the gaps occur in the graphs.
Good luck.
