Hi,
Config 1 (I remove MR550 from the network) works well (Livebox with fixed IP 192.168.123.254), all wired clients with fixed IP, DHCP for wifi clients
Config 2 (I remove Livebox from the network), EAP245 does not provide internet to wifi clients (MR550 fixed IP 192.168.123.254)
Both Config 1 and Config 2 provide internet to wired clients
Some help ?
Regards

Hi @sebpoterie
Thanks for posting here.
What your intended network topology looks like? Do you need to connect to both routers(livebox and MR550) simultaneously? Do you need link backup, or load balancing feature? If so, we recommend adding an SDN router and configuring a multi-WAN setup.
Below is the configuration guide:

Any misunderstanding, please let us know.

Hi,
Thank you for your answer.
I do not need need to connect to both routers (livebox and MR550) at the same time.
I do not need a multi-wan setup.
I would like only a manual link backup. I will plug MR550 only in case of fiber box breakdown. So I use exactly same Ip range, gateway etc... on both routers.
When MR 550 is plugged instead of fiber box ->
- Everything works fine with wired computers.
- No WiFi internet on my two EAP 245 (onboard MR550 wifi is off).
I do not understand why.

Hi @sebpoterie
Thanks for the reply. To verify, MR550 is TP-Link Archer MR550, right?
You can give MR550 a different IP address, like 192.168.123.253.
If still the same, please share with us some screenshots of the DHCP settings of the MR550.
I want to invite you to have a look at the following link:

With an Omada SDN router, the MR550 will take over the network automatically. And this is also one of the highlight feature of Omada router. It can also be managed by the OC200.

Yes, MR 550 is TP-Link Archer MR550
I do not want to give MR550 a different IP address as I will NEVER plug it in my network at the same time as my fiber box (livebox). I do not want to change any configuration of all my IP fixed wired clients.
Here some screen captures :
MR550

LIVEBOX (fiber box)
