EAP770 MLO not functional

Saturday
Model: EAP770
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.0.1 Build 20250418 Rel. 67374

I have two EAP773 where MLO is working perfectly - I recently added a EAP770 and copied the same settings to it but the clients will not connect to it with MLO.

If you reboot the AP you will see the client connect to it with MLO with the 5ghz network green and the 6ghz network gray but after a couple of minutes the 6ghz will drop, the MLO designation will disappear and the client will be connected via the 5ghz radio only.

I created a 6ghz only network and that still works during this time so the 6ghz radio doesn't die its just the MLO is not functioning properly forcing clients to 5ghz only.

I tried with the Iphone 16pro, 17pro and Samsung Galaxy S24 - all show the same behavior on the EAP770 while working correctly on the EAP773's.

Hi  @BigGuyFi

Thanks for posting here. To better understand the situation, please share a screenshot of your controller's Device page, which will help us identify the specific hardware and firmware versions of the SDN devices you are using. Additionally, please let us know the type of controller(hardware or software) you are using and its firmware version. Thanks.

I'm using the software controller running in a container on a Synology NAS device.

@BigGuyFi Was MLO working before and suddenly stopped, or has MLO never worked on this AP? Also, is it possible to revert to firmware version 1.0.0 to see if the issue persists?

Hi  @BigGuyFi

Thanks for the reply.

We are releasing a new firmware which had fixed this issue. Please wait a few more days and stay tuned for the firmware update. Thanks for the understanding.
