URGENT: Where are the firmware updates for the security issue Oct 2025
Hi,
Regarding the "TP-Link warns of critical command injection vulnerabilities in Omada gateways" advisories doing the rounds in the past 48 hours or so, my Omada controller (OC220 on version 6.0.0.31) is not offering any firmware update for my ER707-M2 nor is there any download available from support pages dated any time recently, nor any 1.3.1+ firmware (the advisory says 1.3.1+ is OK).
Where can I source these patched and secured firmwares as a matter of urgency, it seems like the announcement has appeared before the firmware has been updated or released?

Will the ER7206 V1 receive an update? I am currently on 1.4.1 and I can't find any information about an update on the site.

@NeilR_M thanks for confirming, is there any reasoning behind it not being available via the controller to upgrade via the cloud or is it a timing thing?

@GERichard Unfortunately, I don't have any news regarding why it has not been made available through the controller cloud update channels. If I get any news regarding that, I'll be sure to share with the community.

@MR.S Firmware note for v1.3.1 (marked as latest) reads in bold red:
Important Notice:
It is recommended to upgrade to version 1.3.2 afterwards to use a more secure signature algorithm.
Anyone found that? Does the v1.3.2 update exist yet?

The firmware for the ER7206 V1 will be released in the future. The exact date is unknown; please be patient.

Some firmware versions can already be pushed via the Omada Controller’s cloud service, while others will be made available for cloud push in a future update.
