ER707-M2 v1.20 Load balancing not according to bandwith ratio
The load balancing between two internet connections does not seem to be according to the bandwidth ratio.
WAN1 with 175 MBit/s up and 40 MBit/s down

WAN3 with 100 MBit/s up and 40 MBit/s down

Load Balancing:

Traffic Stats:

I would expect that because WAN1 has 1.75 the downstream of WAN3 to also roughly get 1.75 times the traffic. However, the gateway seems to route almost twice as much traffic over WAN3. What could be the issue? I don't have Bandwith Control, QoS or Session Limit enabled

First of all i would go with FW 1.31 and test again, it also covers the recent security issues with omada routers.

Thanks for pointing me in a direction @kid63 .
1.3.1 is not listed here:

I only found it here: https://support.omadanetworks.com/en/document/108306/?app=wifi-toolkit
But with no download link.

@fvclaus You should be able to download it from here:
https://static.tp-link.com/upload/firmware/2025/202510/20251017/ER707-M2(UN)_V1.0_1.3.1%20Build%2020251009.zip
Your specific model isn't region locked so that link should work for you.

@NeilR_M thanks for providing the link. I updated the firmware successfully, and it seems to work now, but only if I turn off application optimized load balancing. I don't expect this to have such a large impact on it. It has been running without application optimized load balancing for a while now and I haven't noticed any issues. I would still like to turn it back on, but not at the expense of the load balancing. Any ideas?

@fvclaus
Do u have a Routing Policy enabled? If not, pls create one, with the network of your choice set as source and destination set to IPGroup_Any. That should do the trick.

@kid63 Thanks for your time. I don't fully understand what I need to configure and why it is required. Is this correct?
