ER605v2 LAN Client l2tp VPN passthrough not working !
I use the ER605 ad my gateway for internet but it blocks VPN L2TP connections
from my client pc on LAN.
I was not able to connect to an external VPN L2TP server from my Win10 / Win11 pc,
but if I change the ER605 with my old Cisco RV320 it works !
So the problem seems to be the ER605.... it's the same problem describer here :

Please could you fix with a new firmware ?
Thanks, regards

I can confirm this with er605v2 2.3.1 AND er8411 1.3.3 and 1.3.6 released to controller today
I will do a full write up when I get home
In my case external ipsec client to site vpns on macos connect but zero traffic to the external server and devices traverses the gateway
Interestingly my mobile banking app also won't authenticate on this firmware either

Please confirm whether this issue only appeared after you upgraded to this firmware version.Try downgrading the firmware to isolate the problem.
Have you tested with different client ? When the connection fails, is there any error message, or what exactly does the failure look like?

No the problem still exists with previous firmware releases !
I personally tested all releases from 2.2.1 to 2.3.1, all firmware with same problem.
No connection from L2TP clients on Lan (with router ER605) to an external server L2TP
Windows 10 / 11 native L2TP client and Mac OS native L2TP client.... so the problem
si the ER605 for sure !, if I change it with my old Cisco router all clients works....
