Hi 

 

a customer is equip with

 

a Firewall sormshield

an OC 300

TL-SG2428P

EAP 613

 

he managed with his contoller all the OMADa device 

he created VLAN and MSSID and its work

 

then he would like to create a captive protal and nothing work!

 

it is because he didn't have a OMADA gateway?

You can use any router with Omada switches and access points. What is important is that the devices have access to the portal to be able to log in, if it is in a different VLAN than the controller then you must make sure that the portal port is open, you may also have to create a Pre-Authentication Access in the portal configuration that gives access before you log in such as guest,myportal,me:19088
It is important that you also have the port number not just the IP address or name.

 

When you are going to test, it is a good idea to disable guest on the ssid and just enable portal that way, then you have one less thing to think about. Guest blocks access to all private networks automatically, so if you disable guest, you have full access to private networks as well, when you get it working you can enable guest again.
