EAP603 Outdoor, Prohibit WiFi Sharing
Okay, I've been requesting the implementation of Prohibit WiFi Sharing on the EAP225 Outdoor units, and Vincent replied in one of my posts that I should switch to WiFi 6 devices. So I decided to take the plunge and buy some EAP603 Outdoor units, and I'm currently testing this feature. But it simply isn't working. Prohibit WiFi Sharing still isn't working. Any device that connects to my hotspot can share the WiFi with another phone via the Android hotspot.
I want to mention that I currently have 75 EAP225 Outdoor devices and about 25 EAP610 Outdoor devices, all working with hotspot. I sell WiFi through vouchers in rural communities. When many friends suggested using Mikrotik and Ubiquiti, I went with TP-Link's Omada. I've invested a lot of money in this equipment and I'm simply asking that you fully implement this crucial security feature.

Hi @ludbarri
Thanks for posting here.
This is because the current firmware version of the EAP603-outdoor is not yet compatible with Controller 5.15.24. We are preparing an update for this model, and the next version will support this feature.
If you urgently need this functionality, we recommend either switching to a product that already has compatible firmware;
If not, you may wait for the firmware update. The ETA should be the end of this year or the begining of 2026.
Note: ETA is provisional and actual delivery may vary depending on implementation conditions.

Hi @ludbarri,
Was this the post you referenced? It looks like the EAP610 is the only model you have that supports the feature; I didn't see the EAP603. I upvoted Include "Prohibit WiFi Sharing" in EAP225-Outdoor Firmware Update, but it didn't sound like there were plans for the EAP225 to get this feature.

@D-C In my opinion, all APs compatible with OMADA SDN V6 should already have this feature implemented. Especially if they are newer devices like the EAP603 Outdoor.

@Vincent-TP Thanks, I'm now manually updating to this new version. I can confirm that the "Prohibit WiFi Sharing" function now works correctly with the EAP603 Outdoor. I now have around 20 of these devices and they're working perfectly.
