New Feature/ Enhancement:

1. Supported Omada APs of new VI.

2. Adapted to CE-RED certification.

3. Optimized configuration synchronization mechanism.

4. Optimized automatic adoption.

5. Optimized ACS mechanism.

6. Optimized DFS switching mechanism and radar wave conflict handling.

7. Optimized automatic bandwidth selection mechanism.

8. Optimized background scanning mechanism.

9. Optimized VLAN implementation mechanism.

10. Optimized Log reporting mechanism, adding logs related to DFS, CPU utilization, and more.

11. Optimized PPSK configuration process. Configuring a PPSK profile will only affect the modified entries.

12. Optimized FDB table management mechanism. Wireless connection information will be cleared when the FDB table changes.

13. Optimized CoA-ACK/NAK message cache mechanism.

14. Supported secure firmware download strategy.

15. Supported configuration of WPA3 Enterprise on the Standalone page.

16. Supported configuration of DNS adoption switch (Remote Adoption) on the Standalone page.

17. Supported EAP CLI command system.

18. Modified the default security policy of SSIDs in factory state.

19. Modified the verification rules for static IP configuration items on the Standalone page.

20. Solved the problem of redirection and adoption failure of devices in management state in NAT scenario.

21. Solved the Blast-RADIUS security vulnerability and added a message-authenticator attribute verification switch.

Bug Fixed:

1. Fixed frequent DFS switching issue.

2. Fixed frequent client disconnections/connection failures.

3. Fixed gradually increasing memory usage issue.

Hi @MrAlab

V1.20 uses the same firmware as V1.0. You can update your EAP to this version.

Yes, this is still the pre-release version. We need to wait for the official one to be released.

@Vincent-TP Is there a more recent update to this? I tried updating to 1.6.3 found here: https://support.omadanetworks.com/en/product/eap655-wall/v1/?resourceType=download

But get an error that the upgrade file is invalid. I noticed the date on the official 1.6.3 is earlier then the one I have (20251111 for my pre-release 1.6.0 vs 20251107 for official), unsure if that's the issue? My device is a EAP655-Wall(US) v1.0[Custom] running 1.6.0 Build 20251111 Rel. 42814

@Vincent-TP Using this firmware I am getting "Wi-Fi Calling Profile - The device does not support this feature" - will this feature come to this AP at some point? I am on EAP655-Wall v1.0_1.6.0_20251111 (Pre-release Version) from this thread as there has not been a more recent release.
