EAP 245 Wifi Slowness
We have an installation of EAP245 APs managed via Omada OC200 controller. We are facing an issue with some EAP245 access points, when users connect to it they experience slow internet bandwidth. A reboot of the AP solves the issue but it keeps happening and the users are annoyed about the slow speeds. Is there a way to fix this issue or identify the cause of the issue? Thanks.

@CPIT Could you please provide your network topology? Are the EAPs connected to a switch, or powered through PoE injector and connected straight to the gateway?
Also, can you please verify if physical issues have been eliminated, such as ethernet cables or faulty switches?

@NeilR_M The EAP are connected to Tplink network switch, all managed via Omada controller. The gateway is connected to another switch which is connected via an uplink to the Tplink switch. The cable has been checked. There are no errors logged in the controller for the switch. TIA.

@CPIT Does the issue occur only on the EAPs? Does another wired device such as a laptop or desktop connected to the same switch have the same issue, or does it operate normally?
How many clients roughly are connected to the same EAP? Were there any changes in the network prior to the issue occurring?

@NeilR_M The issue is only on EAPs, other wired devices do not face this issue. Wired devices have a good internet speeds and operate normally.
There are around 5-6 devices connected on this particular EAP. There haven't been network changes prior to this issue. Thanks.

@CPIT Thanks for the info. Does the issue happen on both the 2.4 GHz band and the 5 Ghz band? Also, would it be possible to update the firmware on those EAPs? I see an update for your model released in August of this year.

Upgrade to latest firmware has been completed. Its currently under monitoring to check for any issues.
Is there SNMP MIB for EAP245 that we can use to get details about number of clients connected, cpu usage, memory usage etc.
Thanks.
