Hi folks,

I would like to know if EAP650 Desktop supports repeater mode with other devices - like Mikrotik. My setup is MT router with wifi and I need to extend coverage via EAP650 in repeater mode.

thank you!

I have several EAP650-Desktop devices and I don't believe they have an "extender" mode which you are looking for.  They use a wired connection for network connectivity and they are mesh capable (wireless) with other Omada APs.

Hi  @darkstarpz

To use an EAP in repeater mode, you can consider EAP650-outdoor. And yes, it can wireless connecting to a third-party wireless signal.

Hi jra11500, It seems that only specific models have this feature - there is a KB from TP-Link for that and only few outdoor models are included. I wondered if that is outdated information, but as per your response seems to be correct. Thank you for your response.
