I was reviewing the new firmware and it has no new features, just security updates.
Is the v1 just abandoned at this point and won't get new features?
I bought this router expecting it to be a great product but seems like I just wasted my money.

I have the same feeling about wasting my money on the ER7212PC. For a while I considered upgrading to a ER8411 and investing even more (Gateway, Controller + POE Switch) in my TP-Link setup but after seeing the OC200 debacle and now this ER7212PC debacle I just believe I should swith to another brand entirely.
