I bought this 3-in-1 device to be able to set up ACL rules and to isolate specific ports or IP addresses. 

There has been talk in other closed threads about developing the ability to use IP Groups in LAN->LAN gateway ACL rules. Unclear what products will receive this.

Will this ever be available for ER7212PC v1? What is the timing?

Are you saying this feature?

 

ER7212PC V2 (Built-in Omada SDN Controller 6.1) Pre-Release Firmware (Released on 22nd Dec, 2025)

 

ER7212PC V2 already supports this. For V1, no ETA for now.

 

Other Omada Gateways that have adapted firmware for Omada V6.1 will also support this feature.

  @Vincent-TP Thanks for your response. Yes that's exactly the feature I'm talking about. I saw it mentioned in the beta release notes for 6.1 for V2 which I think is where your screenshot comes from. Can you clarify if ER7212PC v1 hardware is even able to support Omada V6.1? I'm trying to understand if waiting for the new firmware (and feature) is worth it or not

Regarding information such as firmware release plans, feature addition schedules, and product lifecycles for various models, unfortunately, the community team does not have access to specific plans in advance. Compared to the official website, we can only learn about whether a firmware version is scheduled for community pre-release about 1-2 weeks earlier. Beyond that, we have no further information. For more detailed updates, we recommend keeping an eye on the official website. I appreciate your understanding.
