Option 43 is used by clients and servers to exchange the vendor-specific information.

there is possibly a misunderstanding - I try to suggest, that in the Client list of the Controller there should be a possibility for vendor lookup for each client.

Easiest, quickest and IMHO sufficient solution could be (like on ASUS routers) when I click on MAC address of a Client in Clients list a pop-up window will display the result of OUI lookup showing the vendor.

More sophisticated solution could be adding a new line to the Client Info below the MAC address with the Vendor identification. Of course this will require a change to the database structure adding new field in the table as online lookup each time accessing the Client info isn't feasible.
