Firmware Version: 1.3.2 Build 20251015 Rel.76521

In the current case, there is still a Fritzbox in bridge mode in front of the controller, and it has a different public IP address than the controller. With the current options, it does not seem possible to create a VPN tunnel.

Hi  @iThMe

Do you configure two WAN ports for the ER7212PC? If yes, when you create the VPN server, please make sure you have selected the WAN port for IP 95.x.x.x.

Then refer to this guide to configure it step by step:

How to configure OpenVPN on Omada Gateway via Omada Controller

And here is a guide about troubleshooting:

Troubleshooting for gateway OpenVPN connection failure

If it still fails, please let us know the detailed network topology, configuration screenshots, and the error message when failing to connect to the VPN server.

Hi  @iThMe

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

May I ask what is your network topology and what kind of network requirement you have with VPN tunnel?

@Hank21 In this case, a Fritzbox with a 100.xxx.xxx.xxx IP address is used, which operates in bridge mode, followed by an Omada ER7212PC gateway, which manages the APs and end devices as well as other settings, which receives a different public IP 95.xxx.xxx.xxx. I have already tried OpenVPN, but I cannot get a VPN tunnel to work. I want to be able to access my IoT devices from outside my home network. Do you need any further information?

Hi  @iThMe

If the OpenVPN did not work, you may try to provide us with the configuration screenshots on your ER7212PC for reference.
