Currently, an IP Group can only hold 16 IP addresses or networks.

Why is there such a tiny limit on it, and can it be increased? I am securing my reverse proxy with various technologies like Crowdsec, but I would like to block the aggressive networks immediately at the gateway instead. This is currently not very feasible as you would have to manage dozens of different Groups, essentially all doing the same thing. If my gateway can block 5 different Groups, why can't those Groups hold 50 addresses instead?
