Hello, I have noticed a few problems with this camera.

The first is that I am using the Firefox browser version 148 and after I log into the administration of the camera, a message displays that I do not have an updated browser.

Going to Vigi system management update firmware check for update displays "Request Timed Out".

The controls for PTZ under Preview and Settings do not work.

Also, I have this camera connected to the Synology Surveillance and there is a time delay in viewing when synchronized along with Hikvision cameras.

Please fix.

Hi  @xmanhattan 

May I ask what is your network topology?

Can you show us the screenshots with the error when it's related to the firefox browser and firmware update time out? Did you try to use different web browsers?

Is it possible you can provide us with the model of your synology and Hikivision devices?

Hello Hank21,  

My network topology is simple enough.

Wifi Fiber router to TP-link to devices, 2 x pc's, 2x  ip cameras, synology 720+ using  DSM 7.3, wifi laptop, 2 x mobile phones using wifi.

I have no problem downloading.

I cannot send you a  screenshot because the error message disappears.

 

It is obvious that it is not a browser problem because I downloaded the update and it takes it that way.

This is the first message that I see when loging into the camera using the browser:

Some features are not supported by the current web browser. For a better experience, it is recommended that you use the following browsers.

 

The Web Session Timeout is set to 60 minutes.  It's the C540 software!

 

The Hikvision camera is DS-2CD2643G2-IZS.
