Firmware Version: 1.1.5

Tengo fibra 1gb simétrica, conectado por wifi 7, no llego ni a 100Mbps con el EAP783 por wifi
Reinicié router, actualicé OMADA, puse último firmware, reseteé el EAP783 y lo mismo, no consigo ni 200MB, con WIFI6 sí va un poco más.
La verdad que estoy cansado ya, no es la primera vez que me pasa y no puedo encontrar qué es.

I have 1 Gbps symmetrical fiber, connected over Wi-Fi 7, and I can’t even reach 100 Mbps with the EAP783 over Wi-Fi.

I rebooted the router, updated Omada, installed the latest firmware, reset the EAP783, and it’s still the same — I can’t get even 200 Mbps. With Wi-Fi 6 it works a bit better.

Honestly, I’m already tired of this. It’s not the first time it’s happened and I can’t figure out what’s causing it.

Thank you for posting our business forum.  

 

Please refer to the following suggestion:
1.Please test the wired connection speed of the device located upstream of your EAP and share the test results with us. You may also connect your computer directly to the EAP via wired cable to run the speed test.
2.Could you please also verify that all Ethernet cables in use are CAT5e or higher specification?
3.We also suggest replacing the cable connecting the EAP to its upstream device with a shorter cable for testing.  

 

If the issue still persists after trying the steps above, please kindly provide us with the following information:  

  • The full description/diagram of your network topology and the devices model in your network.
  • Speed test result when your computer is directly connected to the EAP via cable
  • Speed test result when your computer connects to the EAP's upstream device via the same cable and the same network port
  • Whether the issue occurs on all wireless client devices?

I think it was something about wires or router, it was conected to router at 100Mbps, I disconected Philip Hub, and now its connected to 1000Mbps with the router.
Normal wifi 7 speeds now.

 

I will wait to determinate if it's the cable or something weird with router.
