See if the folloing helps.

 

Here's how you can customize the name of your client devices:

1. Open the Deco app and go to the Client list.
2. Tap on the client device you want to rename.
3. This will take you to the "Device Info" page, where you'll be able to edit its name.

The Deco app usually displays the client devices' DHCP hostname by default, but you can easily customize it to something more recognizable using the steps above.
