  @Vishlamba

later edit: I am using POE260S, also max. 30W and my eap775-wall work fine. But is meant for 2.5G compared with yours.
For the mobile app, I don't think for now, has 1:1 functions same as browser.

  @liviu2004 HI

You missed this part

Please note that this is separate from the 6GHz functionality issue. I have another EAP775 connected to a 60W PoE injector. where I was testing 6hgz band.

The issue is not 6ghz not wokring the issue is, is SG2428P providing power as required, and why there is an error message coming in the app.

Regarding the 6ghz issue Tplink team has already replied to my ticket informing me issue regarding 6ghz not work, beocuse India just lifed the ban from 6ghz band and it been slowly rolled out. So on that its going to be a wait and what situation for me now.

Are you also from india and testing 6GHZ in india ?

  @Vishlamba My testing was done in The Netherlands. Indeed, rollout varies per countries regulations, and TP-Link must observe this aspect carefully. Thanks for the update, definitely helpful for other readers as well.

Hi everyone,

Thank you all for your attention to the issues discussed here.

Regarding the previously reported "insufficient power" issue, our team has identified the cause as abnormal display of certain fields in our App. We plan to roll out a fix for this issue in version V5.3 (please note that the actual release version may be adjusted according to practical situations).

As for reported 6GHz-related issues, our team has examined the performance of both the Controller and EAP devices, and confirmed that 6GHz configuration instructions from the Controller are delivered correctly, and EAP devices also can broadcast 6Ghz Singal. We have determined that the problem is most likely caused by end devices (such as mobile phones or computers): end devices do not support 6GHz due to firmware or hardware limitations.

If you are also encountering related issues, please refer to the troubleshooting steps below:
1.Please check whether the SSID of your EAP is broadcast normally. If you have two EAP devices, you can run interference detection in the Controller (Devices>EAP> Manage Device> Statistics)to check whether the other EAP can receive the 6GHz signal.
2.Try to set Beacon Interval to custom mode with a value of 100ms.
3.Verify whether your end device explicitly supports local 6GHz wireless regulations.
Thank you very much for your cooperation.

  @Nathan-TP thank you

also this is provably only for India user the only way I could make 6ghz work on my apple devices was by switching off Network and wireless option under system services. My windows 11 laptop picked up 6ghz straightaway after changing to intel Ax210 but for apple devices the above work around was the only option. Thanks team TPLINK.

@Nathan-TP hello -- I just wanted to let you know I've just stumbled upon this thread after suddenly losing 6Ghz service on my EAP775-Wall. I am US-based and prior to upgrading my firmware from 1.0.5 Build 20260305 Rel. 11501 to 1.5.2 Build 20260430 Rel. 12405, I had 6Ghz service on my devices with no issues. Now, these devices will only connect to 5Ghz.. I had upgraded on the assumption I was severely behind on updates (going from 1.0.5 to 1.5.2), not realizing that this apparent bug exists. I am going to attempt a firmware downgrade, if that's even supported.

EDIT: A force provision of the AP seems to have resolved the issue without the need to downgrade firmware. All seems well now :)
