POE disable on update to 3.3.0 Build 20260109 Rel. 56814
Just a note that the POE for port 3 was disabled after the update. Not a big deal since I only have one of these in service, but that port powered the phone the bar tender uses.

Hi @ve7cbh
Thanks for posting here.
What do you mean specifically by “disabled”?
Are you referring to the POE status of this port constantly showing as disabled in the web interface and being unable to be enabled? If so, could you please provide a screenshot?
Or are you saying that this port cannot supply power to any PoE device?
How do you power on the EAP235-wall? via a POE switch or a POE adapter? Please also give us the model number. Thanks.

I'm back (after a long silence) as we may finally have some new (CA) firmwares... I have a fleet of these 235's at a few locations and the POE port is being used on most of them (powered via POE+ switches)...normally I could just downgrade in the event of something like this, but this particular firmware makes that impossible, so I kind of need to know if this is really an issue or not before proceeding with any upgrades.

Hi @d0ugmac1
Understood. Generally, there won’t be such issues, but just in case, I’ll have my team check this situation.
Looking forward for your update.

@ve7cbh You try to toggle it off an on? My wall eap6-55 will occasionally "disable" after an update even though it shows as enabled in the gui. Toggling it resolves the issue.

Confirmation that this is a 'non-issue' or at least that TP-link will provide a process to downgrade if it is?

Hi there
By disabled = turned off. A trival fix to turn it back on from the normal management page.
