Model: ER707-M2
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.1 Build 20251009

Unfortunately none of the following actiion work when I tried to reset my gateway.

I tried:

  • pressing reset for 10s
  • pressing reset for 30s
  • pressing reset, power on and hold for 10s
  • 30-30-30 (pressing reset, power off, power on and press again)

The router would not signal an reset or state change using the LEDs, or resume operation an respond to pint on 192.168.0.1.

Hi @mma678

Thanks for reaching out to TP-Link Business Forums.

It seems that your gateway now turns into a brick status.

You may refer to this article to perform a firmware recovery: How to use the Emergency Mode to recover the firmware for Omada Gateways | TP-Link

@Gabriel-TP I followed your instructions, got into the recovery mode, and flashed the latest firmware ER707-M2(UN)_V1.6_1.4.1_Build 20260325. After rebooting the gateway, I was still unable to visit the default admin IP 192.168.0.1. I unplugged the power cord and replugged it after 10 seconds. The gateway went to the recovery mode directly. Right it went to the recover mode even if I didn't touch the reset button. The firmware reverted to ER707-M2(UN)_V1.6_1.3.1 Build 2025100. I tried the same actions twice and got the same results.

Please advise how I can obtain RMA for the gateway.

Thank you!
