ER8411 Random Reboot Every 3 Days After Firmware Update
Hi Team,
We are facing a stability issue with our ER8411 router after the recent firmware update.
Setup:
Router: ER8411 Hardware Version 1.2
Managed by: OC300 Omada Controller
Firmware: 1.3.5
Controller-managed environment
Issue: After the firmware update, the router is randomly rebooting approximately every 3 days. Before the update, the setup was stable and we did not experience these unexpected reboots.
Observations:
Internet goes down during reboot
Router comes back automatically after few minutes
No manual restart involved
Issue started only after firmware upgrade
Device is adopted and managed through Omada Controller
We would like to know:
Whether this is a known issue with ER8411 firmware 1.3.5
If there are any recommended stable firmware versions
Whether OC300 controller compatibility could be causing this
Any logs/debug methods recommended by TP-Link
Please help us with a permanent fix or recommended stable firmware path.

Thanks for posting here.
This is not a known issue for 1.3.5. And it's not the latest firmware version.
For your case, you may first update to the latest 1.3.6:

In the meantime, please check with your Internet service provider; the issue may be caused by an unstable connection.
We are going to release a new firmware soon that is fully compatible with Omada 6.2 and includes many optimizations. If you don't mind, you can wait a few more days and update to that firmware.
During this period, you can configure a reboot schedule for the ER8411 at midnight. This may avoid the issue from happening.
