Hi

I think there should a section or option to see newly added devices to the network so that we don't have to search them via MAC address or look for IP.

Hi  @Vishlamba

Thanks for posting.

For your request, I want to confirm some more information:

1. What do you mean by newly added devices? Does the device mean SDN devices, such as EAP, gateway, or wired & wireless clients?

2. How do you define newly added?

We can see the clients' uptime on the client list. Do you think this is ok?

  @Vincent-TP  Hello

Thanks for posting.

For your request, I want to confirm some more information:-

1. What do you mean by newly added devices? Does the device mean SDN devices, such as EAP, gateway, or wired & wireless clients?

I am referring to wired and wireless clients, such as new IoT devices, TVs, or hard-wired printers.

2. How do you define newly added?

This refers to any new device introduced to the system for the first time.

We can see the clients' uptime on the client list. Do you think this is ok?

Regarding the client list, while the uptime is visible, it currently requires searching through many MAC addresses. Since I manage a significant amount of home automation, I frequently need to name new wireless devices and lock them to specific IP and MAC addresses.

It would be very helpful to have a separate section or a dedicated drop-down menu specifically for newly added clients to streamline this process.

Thanks

Hi  @Vishlamba

Thanks for the explanation. Now it's clear.

You can click the Uptime column to sort devices by their uptime. This will place newly added devices at the top of the list, which should help save you some time.

Did you try this before?
