Model: EAP725-Wall
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.5

The EAP725-Wall for Australia comes in a box label  "EU/1.20" but inside the box the device claims it is "AU v1.0" and firmware version 1.1.3. Then if you upgrade the firmware to the latest available 1.1.5, then the hardware version changes from "AU v1.0" to "AU v1.0[Custom]".

What does the "[Custom]" mean?

Should we actually upgrade to 1.1.5 or best to wait / skip?

For the "EU" and "US" firmware, they are already on 1.2.x version, which a lot of significant updates. Why isn't this version available for "AU" firmware?

Hi  @whereisaaron

Thanks for posting here.

Regarding the product's actual country code, we need to determine it based on what is displayed in the controller interface.

What does the "[Custom]" mean?

>>>It means the firmware is special for AU.

Should we actually upgrade to 1.1.5 or best to wait / skip?

>>>You can update to the latest 1.3.2.

For the "EU" and "US" firmware, they are already on 1.2.x version, which a lot of significant updates. Why isn't this version available for "AU" firmware?

>>>Actually, AU has also released the same latest firmware; it’s just placed as the second option. I suspect it may not have been correctly sorted during the release. I will provide feedback to the relevant department to move the latest firmware to the top. Thank you for bring this to our attention.

Thanks @Vincent-TP the Omada Controller only offers 1.1.5 (which adds the "[Custom]" suffix) and no newer version is offered.

Thanks for the screenshot, but if you check the one you indicated, it is "EU" firmware, even though is on the "AU" website, so I don't think this download can be installed?

If you can check with the team where the 1.2.x / 1.3.x firmware is, that would be great

Hi  @whereisaaron

You can update the firmware on your EAP directly; it's actually an AU version.

We’re now discussing the best way to display the versions.

Thanks @Vincent-TP I'm sorry, I don't quite understand what you mean by: "You can update the firmware on your EAP directly; it's actually an AU version."

Are you saying I can download e.g. "EAP725-Wall(EU)_V1_1.3.1_Build 20260413" firmware from "AU" website, labelled "EU", and install it on an "AU" EAP-725 and it will work and still stay an "AU" version?

Hi  @whereisaaron

Yess. I understand it's confusingblush, so we are planning to present it in another way. Thanks.
