Model: EAP235-Wall
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 3.3.1 Build 20251203 Rel. 58135

Hi all,

Since upgrading my EAP235-Wall devices to the latest 3.3.1 firmware version, I've been seeing connectivity issues with some Lenovo Android tablets. The same issue affects multiple tablets with different hardware. The common-denominator seems to be Android 11.

The Wifi connection on the device connects and disconnectes repeatedly in a loop. The device does get some network data through, and then then WiFi connection disconnects and reconnects again. An older Lenovo tablet with Android 9 isn't affected.

Trying 2.4G and 5G networks doesn't seem to have any effect.

Is there a setting that has been enabled in this firmware that might be causing compatibiity problems?

Is there a way to downgrade to a previous firmware revision?

Hi  @Bagpuss_Yawn

Thanks for posting here.

No extra settings need to be enabled. To find out the reason, please let us know the following info:

1. The screenshots of the EAP SSID config page, please also include the advanced settings.

2. How many EAP235-walls do you have in total? Are they all affected?

3. Does this issue only happen on Lenovo Android tablets? What about your mobile phones, or other wireless clients.

In the meantime, please try the following:

1. Change channel and channel width for the EAP;

2. Disable unnecessary advanced wireless settings.

3. On the Lenovo Android tablets, forget the network and reconnect it.
