Hi!

Will all hardware get the new Gateway QOS features as seen in the Fusion emulator?
In my case I'm currently on OC200, but will probably move to a software controller in the future as OC200 is seeing less and less features.

My gateway is currently a ER707-M2 if that matters.

What do you mean by all hardware? 

 

I believe this feature requires Omada Fusion Gateway, which means Omada SDN gateways are excluded.

I believe this feature requires Omada Fusion Gateway, which means Omada SDN gateways are excluded.

I understand that the article is regarding the Fusion gateway, and it's the only one running 6.3 from what I can see.

My question is, will these features also come to other hardware in future releases? Or are they exclusive for the Fusion Gateway?

that would be great if this feature would be available on software controller/ER707-M2. the current bandwith control leads to buffer bloating and strong limited bandwith, to work in a nearly acceptable manner.

Yes, we have the plan to add this for Omada gateways.

However, it is still unclear which specific models will be added, which will not, and when. And it’s just a plan. Whether it will be implemented in the end or if there will be changes to the plan cannot be guaranteed.
