ER7412-M2 Version Differences
Can you explain differences between ER7412-M2 v1.20 and v1.30 that is launching next month?
The one I've noticed is IPS performance that changed from 523 Mbps to 2.2 Gbps (quadrupled).
Can you confirm that? Is it updatable firmware or hardware change?
If the latter, then it is going to make me fell really fed up that I bought my crippled v1.20 last month.
Is there any chance to exchange it in some customer experience program (if any exist at all)?

@KrispPL I just got confirmation, the datasheet has not yet been updated on the V1.20. The specs from the V1.30 is accurate for both devices when using the latest firmware.

I've also noticed that none of your resellers/retailers in Poland inform what version they sell.
The only information they provide is model without version. And I could understand that there are model differences (it's obvious and logical), but this additional (hidden) version specs dimension opens hell to customer experience.

@KrispPL No specification difference, the only real difference is going to be in the packaging. Rest assured, your existing model should be fine.

@NeilR_M Thanks Neil! So, you say that v1.20 is going to receive same 2.2 Gbps IPS performance (as stated in v1.30 datasheet) with just the firmware update? Or is it simply a typo mistake in v1.30 datasheet (these specs became almost quadrupled from 573 Mbps to ~2.2 Gbps)?

@KrispPL I'm waiting on confirmation, but at the moment it seems that the v1.20 will receive the same performance as the v1.30 with just a firmware update. I'll update once I get official confirmation of that, or if the answer differs from the initial explanation I received. Thanks for your patience!

@NeilR_M Thanks! That's a great news!
By „the latest” you mean current v1.30 firmware (ER7412-M2(UN)_V1.30_1.1.1 Build 20251112) that was released 8 months ago (2025-11-12), and current v1.20 firmware (ER7412-M2(UN)_V1.20_1.1.0 Build 20251015) released a month earlier? Or „the latest” has yet to be released and that's why datasheet hasn't been updated so long? Forgive me, but I'm new here and trying to learn TP-Link singularities.

@KrispPL The latest for both firmware. The datasheet was just not updated with the update that upgraded the throughput for the V1.20.
