I have two Omada gateways.

"Old" device purchased about 12 months ago.

"New" device purchased last month.

The Hardware version and firmware version of the NEW device is, Hardware = v1.30, Firmware = 1.2.2 Build  20250928 Rel.80480 (4555)

For the OLD device, currently in use, Hardware = v1.20, Firmware = 1.1.6 Build 20241211 Rel.58391(4555)

I was planning to use the NEW device as a spare for two locations that we have.

So my plan was to download the backup config for the OLD device and have that available to load up to the NEW device when necessary.

However I have just found that the backup file from the OLD device won't load to the new device because the firmware is incompatible.

But I can't upgrade the firmware on the OLD device to match because the Hardware versions are not the same.

So the question is - is there anything that I can do to bring the two devices to be compatible with each other?
