Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 141017

Hi,

I am using a TL-AC1350 Wireless 4G Router which is connected via my TL-SG108E V1 Switch (using a 100MF port, since it doesn't support 1G).to a Cable Modem.

My PC is also connected via the TL-SG108E V1 Switch (1G Port) to the Cable Modem.

Now the strange thing:

If I do a Speedtest via my PC, I get around 75MBit/s throughput.

If I do the same via the VLAN of my AC1350. I only reach 40MBit/s.

If I connect the AC1350 directly (via Cat5 cable) to the cable Modem, connecting again via WLAN, I do get 75 MBit/s.

Why is the Switch somehow blocking speeds beyond 40MBit/s? As said, direct cable connection give s me the full 75MBit/s, so the Switch is teh problem here.

Hi SPJ

Maybe you can try to use Iperf to test the speed. TP-Link has the FAQ about how to use Iperf.
