Hello there,

 

I have a question,

 

I am setting up a network far a house with B&B/airbnb plans.

 

The wish is as follows.

 

A home network using a TP-link mesh system.

 

and 2 seperate network for the 2 appartments to rent.

 

It is crucial the 2 apartments can not access the main network, only have internet access.

I think using a switch with Vlan is the best option.

 

And use 3 different router setups for the 3 seperate networks.

 

What (tp-link) products do i need to realize this?

Hi Jan-Willem

If you use three routers connected to the switch, you will have 3 seperate networks. Because NAT feature, the LAN of three router cannot access each other. You don't need to set up VLAN, the 3 network is still seperate.

But if you don't want customer access the devices connected to the switch, you need the VLAN feature.
