Model: EAP245
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 3.0

Greetings all. Please excuse me as I am a beginner in the access point/mesh networking space. I recently installed two EAP245 V3's and hard-wired them to an Archer C9 AC1900 router. A wired Windows 10 PC is running the Omada Controller software. My question is should I be using the Mesh function of the controller if all my access points are wired into the network? What does this option do for wired AP's?

Secondly, what is the best way to integrate one or two Archer C9 AC1900 routers as additional access points into my system?

Thanks in advance.

If all APs are wired to the router then you do not need to turn on mesh.

Mesh allows you to expand your network by adding APs that are not wired and act as repeaters.

Will leaving it on have any detrimental affect?
